Maybe EB only sells MK in Australia not the US. I know that I have always been able to buy from EB and that's where I bought my first starter/ booster from.
Well, I buy all my Mageknight at my EB, it isn't just in Australia. The U.S. EB's have them all the time, HeroClix and Mech Warrior ( when it comes of out course ). I find it cheaper at Electronic.
I also find it cheaper at EB probably since no one buys them so they drop the price. Australia seems to be slightly behind though, we don't even have the KIC but for some reason we have the conquest packs (well where I live anyway). If MK were to be sold at Toy R Us that would be cool. They maybe selling HC because when someone see's a booster they recognise the figures while when somone looks at MK thats a different matter.
I saw Hero Clix at Toys R Us. However, many of the boosters had been opened - sad to see that. I also saw Hero Clix at Spencer. Once again, people were opening boosters.
During the holiday season last year I did see MK in Toys R Us. They were selling boosters at the ridiculous price of 14-15 dollars. In my opinion, if you have a local MK store, go there first.
sold MK stuff through their website through Amazon and the prices seemed fair. I checked in a local store though and couldn't find any. Electronics Boutique/Babbages/Game Stop (I think they are all the same) sells MK and HC stuff. My local Game Stop is even listed as a Venue, but they don't have any space to play and no one there seems to know anything about the game. Several of the clerks have asked "what do you do with those things?" I guess if it's not a video game they can't relate.
I get mine at EB, Gamespot, or Waldens. I have checked in Toys R' Us but I have never found any there. Hero Clix on the other hand I have seen everywhere.
