Well, in my neverending struggle to find the ultimate Stomper army *cough*, the following idea has come to my mind, and I woul dbe very happy if youd just come here and bash it to bits, cuz otherwise my neverending struggle wouldnt be endless, would it.

Well, of course this army also relies a little bit on style, so I wont be putting any Atlanteans in it.

here goes:

Explanation:

Jess Blacklock gains LI on his 4th level. This way he can close in on the enemy and threaten them with his multi-arrow attack. At the same time, he provides a shield for the Bloodsuckers travelling in formation with him. Hes 8" range allows him to be out of reach of most chargers.
The enemy will be forced to close in on him or suffer.
Depending on the situation, the Bloodsuckers will then close in on the advancing threat while Blacklock makes an easy break-away.
In this case, the Priest joins the Suckers to boost their defense to a nice 17.
The Stomper sets up about 11" from Blacklock. If something heavy bases him, Blacklock breaks and the Stomper starts firing away. The Priest can heal pushing damage quite easily with his 10" flight and 10" range, even if hes up to some other place for the moment. He can even be used to finish off wounded units.

Blacklock has a high attack, so he can go straight for the main target. He wont go anywhere near a ram though :). In this case I would send the Suckers forward as Blockers and moving the Stomper into firing position. The Suckers can break-away and get healed.

As for terrain, a safe-spot behind some blocking would be nice to take advantage of all this flight.

who's jess blacklock? is he from the dungeons heroic quest packs? where did you get his stats from?

Vinstrom: Jess Blacklock is a hero from the heroeic dungeons pack. He's the Fanged Gunslinger, im not sure, but i think the stats are posted somewhere's in general discussion. Either that, or he bought a pack at gencon ^^.
