Basically, keep the priest and bladesmen moving in formation to impart that 18 defense onto whichever stonethrower needs that boost to 20 vs. ranged.

This is a defensive army, and requires you to place large blockso of clear terrain at the beginning of the game to make sure you have decent mobility.

Lets here some feedback. I probably won't play this due to cheese factor, but it sure will catch some people off guard.

What happens when your opponent has LI? And your STs only move 1/2 speed.

This is the hindering board one correct? Heck all they need is Stealth which I'm sure you'll see a lot of and your Stonethrowers become useless pretty quick. With their slow speed you'll get Nightstalkers, Wraiths and all sort of nasties walking right up to you.

We playtested this a bit and found it quite imperative to have a Magic Blasting figure otherwise a line of Stealth units can give you a very hard time.

Ok so check that, it seems you can use Indirect fire on units with Stealth.

Your still going to be slower than death and a army with a lot of flight figures will probably give you fights, Strikers, Magus D, etc.

Yeah, it seems as though only LI figures can't be targeted by the HOST. Is that correct?

If so, I think you are forgetting about the ability to place clear terrain.

I'll trade the elemental priest for a Magic Blaster and for the 3 EL i'd use scouts ;-)

You get to place two pieces of clear terrain, so a flying opponent can make you go into the hindering to chase them. The HOST has potential, but I'd drop the LOST and a downgrade the bladesmen to add 2 Fell Reaper ***, giving you some much-needed fast moving punch.

So its cheesy, but I plan on making a more interesting army and only using this one if the guys who play cheesy all the time show up.
