Trackers advance at Corpheus individually. This nullifies Corpheus' multishot.
Position them sideways to form a wall so their support can advance with most LOS blocked.
The Formation moves at 10" behind the Trackers and stays out of Corpheus' range.
Imp and shade try to base Corpheus or his support to keep them from being very effective. They aren't expected to live.
The Trackers do need an 8 to hit Corpheus, but with three tries it becomes more likely to succeed. Corpheus can only hit one of them for 3, which a healer(statistically) can fairly easily fix.
The Rancid is there to fill out the 10" formation and he can base Corpheus or his support to force pushing or provide automatic damage.
Changes I'm going to try soon:
I'm going to try replacing him for a ***Feral and use the extra points to upgrade the ***Imp to a *Shade.
Also I'm going to try working Roleric Stormborn in here somehow so that one of my bound attempts only needs a 7 to hit.
Anyone else tried facing down Corpheus? What did you use?
You might even cut both and put Autumn in there.
You can upgrade your Bloodsucker to Wyvern.
Three Trackers is nice , but you're not going to play Corpheus every game , so replacing one with a Scorpem Gunner would give you more options.
With the remaining points , you might get yourself a nice bodyguard like a Centaur or Horny.
Two is alot, I'll look into finding something else.
Autum wouldn't work the way I want; to be effective she has to be too close to Corpheus. I will try Astrus though; his toughness, faster flight, better attack and higher damage would be more helpful against non Corpheus armies. If I protect him well the fact that he has only one slot of MH shouldn't be too bad.
I use a Wyvern if I had one, as is though the Rancid is the best venomer I have.
Replacing one with a Scorpem would probably be more effective, Corpheus would probably shoot him sice his damage wouldn't be reduced
No Heroic Quest packs yet, but soon(Dragon*Con). Friends and I have just been trying stuff against the "most broken" of the figures.
btw , do you already have a corpheus ?
