i couldn't find specific rules on it... nothing about a size limit on terrain... unless somebdoy else can find something, then it's good, unless your warlord has a problem with it for some reason...
problem is, i seem to remember reading about a size limit.
"All terrain pieces that are not Standard Terrain Templates must be between 16 and 64 square inches in size, no more than 10 inches on any given side, and composed of only one type of terrain per piece."
So, nope, too big.
Too big on a side and 49 square inches too much area also.
A 9" circle would be legal and almost exactly the maximum area.
Exactly what Balduvian said. I allow ONLY the standard terrain templates in my events; saves alot of headache from people coming up with 'gimmick' terrain strategies.
(Anybody remember that 'donut-shaped' terrain trick? )
The terrain piece called the 'copse' is a circular-shaped piece with a 4&½ inch diameter, or, to make things easier, exactly the size of a CD.
Anything bigger than that, no dice, unless your WL specifically approves it, ie, if it were for a special scenario or something.
it really depends on the warlord if he see's it fit, either being fluff or being way to cheesy. but for me I don't normally allow non-STP's coz that was stated on the Warlords consolidated Rules.
even in a friendly game I still use the STP's to practice using the only terrains allowed by Wizkids.

If it is how can i prove it
Actually, although the Warlord has discretion, this does fall out of the possibility of being legal.
From the WizKids tournament rules: "All terrain pieces that are not Standard Terrain Templates must be between 16 and 64 square inches in size, no more than 10 inches on any given side, and composed of only one type of terrain per piece."
10" is the limit on a size. Someone else can do the math and tell how small you can go on a circular terrain piect to fit in 64 square inches.
