This formation will kill all others:
1X magestone drac
1x stormy
2X demi magus
1X eldirtch drac
I think you get the point. Put the eldritch behind the magestone and storm and the demies on the sides in the back.
The magestone can pack out a three damage to each piece not including the amount that the middle pieces will get ( for example if there a 3 pieces you hit each with a target enhanced twice and the two outside take 6 and the inside takes 9 its sick). not to forget the 4 damage to 3 targets from the strom and the 19 defend and healing from the eldritch.any questions:D like clock work( the way i think of armies i have somemany winning prizes)[ag]
What happens if your opponent is playing even a single LI warrior? What will you do then?
Not to mention your army is hella expensive. 340 points on a single formation! Great in conquest, but in rebellion? Not likely. To make it 400 points you can add in 5 *shades, but i think you'll get killed. With all that focus on three central figures, your toast if one dies.
If your opponent is smart, he will use terrain to seriously hinder your army. If he has stonethrowers, he can set up a defence and hide behind indirect firing at you. If he has a chariot, he can simply base you. His 14" movement and larger base means he can get B2B with you before you can get off a single shot. If he has a striker, he can simply out manuveur you. If he has a long range figure (amazon drac) he can simply F&P the figure for 15-20 range.
And just because you have so many winning prizes doesn't mean your the king of making armies, i have around 30-40 winning LEs, (btw, anyone interested in several krech's? ) and that doesn't mean whatever army i create will kill.
I frankly don't see how this army could work, but playtest it, bring back the results, and i may change my mind. Until then, i reserve my judgement on this one.
I just dont think It is Mobile enough I mean If I were going to fight this I would just put blocking along one side then Rush Some Chargers up the Side while Entertaining you with a Few ML'd Goodies then boom 2 charger hits on stormie and that is like oww....
this reminds me of somethig a novice mk player would post.....basic and simple to the point, no strategy. just alot of fatties and magic enhancement, cool in theory...but the game has evolved, ur gonna have to think harder then that kid.
hahaha
novice hardly with nearly 8 1st place wins and 6 second you can hardly call me a novice when i am one of the many best.
thought of just thinking of a good formation = the cost of the pieces
the thought of you thinking im a novice = some one who probly isn't to good at mk and not knowing who i am calling me a novice.
being proud after telling you off = priceless
another way a good devoted by life mk player hates to be called a novice. no hard feeling but i could probly woop you ### any day any time pal. after school and work all i do is play mk and mw so #### off .
wow. 8 and 6 your amazing  now whats priceless is being "told off" by a newb who has been playing mage knight barely a year and thinks that 14 1st-2nd places is of high status. Did you ever start to think about who your opponents are? Are they really worthy opponents? Also your last post kinda shows that you are a novice and a young one at that :( Grown people don't result to meaningless insults and what not. Grow up kid, and this army is a newbie army whether you are good or not (which i doubt you are).
hahaha:p i like that.
well you know ive been playing sence the good old days man i love this game ive played sence it came out.ive seen a many of battles hope to see you at the world championship so i can then and only then say that the gods of the dice are with me.
hey champ mind showing us some of those beast armys u've won with? cause ya know to win 14 1st and 2nd places and to come up with something like this.... "formation killer" mean that you are either one of the BEST players in the game today or... your playing against kids about 12 years old and you have a bunch of power figs they can't take down
i tell on my lost games grave that i do not play against little kids mabey once in a great while but who says they arnt good. i know an 8 year old kid that is as sharp as a tack. he would be an equal match to any of us. and if you want an army just ask and ill help you any time.:)
Oh...holy...Jesus. This is the saddest thing I have seen in my entire life. I wish I could un-click on this thread so I would have never been tempted to read the product of such a such disgusting waste of time.
Yes, the army is bad.
Yes, 8 1st place wins is a pretty crappy record.
And yes, the insults are laughable.
But people, there's one thing that's given me a migraine reading these posts:
I cannot make head nor tail of what this kid is speaking? It's definitely not English, and it's nothing European; I've recently been travelling. So I've come to the conclusion that it's either a far Eastern dialect, or some horrible spawning of gangster rap and coloquial vocabulary featured in the pokemon culture.
Perhaps it would be wise to take a break from Mage Knight and maybe attend a day or two of school. I've a sneaking suspicion it might prove beneficial.
I haven't even been into Mage Knight for a month and I can see the problems with that army.
1. Push damage. If you're facing a large army, you either have to take half turns, or push yourself for damage.
2. Dice luck. Again, when playing against larger armies- the sheer number of dice rolls will be on their side.
3. Guess what happens when your guys start to weaken? or, better yet, when one of the big boys dies? Trust me, your game can disappear really fast then. All that it takes are a few good shots. And blieve me, with no backup plan, they'll get them in.
