This is something i threw together for fun, so if it doesn't add up, just tell me, lol:

Ive got huge ammounts of F/L in this army, two MDFs with triple shot F/L, and a huge enhanced F/L formation. The shamen are positioned so they can heal all the gunners while in btb. There is two guners to a shamen. The imps and the shade run around tieing up stuff.
You will be using both the Tezla and GFD two of the most threatening MDF's in conquest thats good.Well just a comment I would use a heavy Tezla and a mature GFD.
You're army is an army where you would'nt be smiling throughout the duration of the game.
well tetsuki, i dont post to realms often because i hate giving away my own strategies, but i've read your stuff and it is actuallly worth reading, so let me offer my advice on this army...Don't go so heavy on flame lightning...limited invisibility is becoming more and more common in formations that make walls around figures. unless you are prepared to ram those LI figs and get them outta the way, you might be in for a rude slap from some enhanced indirect fire figures....e.g. HOST. just my thoughts.

As for my army, i kinda realized its really weak against LI, but then again, only two players down at my venue play the stuff, myself and a friend of mine. I only play this army whenever he isn't there. One time i entered my army, and he showed up late, and entered with his Mega-Huge-Enourmous-Gargauntuan-LI army, and geuss who lost :rolleyes: (my MDFs didn't fire of a single shot, lol).
As for the ram gun, i typically include one in each of my armies, i just wanted to squeeze as much F/L into this army as humanly possible. Its not really a tournement army, its more a fun army. Its also funny to see peoples reactions as he realizes i can do F/L damage a total of 21 times without using the same arrow twice. LOL.

If you took out the shade and imps you could put in a task master that can join the formation of orcs and gives you another action each turn plus a command roll. Those multidials can chew up actions fast if they are making a couple of attacks. Also remember you can enhance the tank or dragon, enhancing a multi target F/L is insane amounts of damage in a hurry.
If you really want to stick with the idea of FL then you should take out your Volunteers, Shades, and Imps and put in a *Troll Gunner, regeneration will keep it alive, and a Demi-magus for ME.
Well, i'd love to fit in more F/L (im a pyro, lol :eek: ) but the goblin volunteers are in there for a reason. With them, my amotep formation is perfectly spaced. If the shamen and goblins are put shamen-goblin-shamen in a big line, with the amoteps in front, every amotep has 1 shamen to it, and i can move the whole shbang in two activations.

Thats all fine and dandy, but every single conquest army i've come up with uses HOSTs, and i don't like using the same thing over and over and over again.

I had not thought of that, i'll have to reveiw the army before my next conquest game.
According to the rules Goblin Volunteers are not allowed in Conquest. Since they start demoralized they are automatically eliminated once you place them on the board. I've heard that this is still under review but as of now they are d.o.a.
That rule was changed quite some time ago. Figures are now only eliminated if they are demoralized as a result of taking damage, allowing Goblin Volunteers to be played.
If you look on their website under the 15 most asked questions about conquest, they say Goblin Volunteers are eliminated automatically. It doesn't look like they changed it.
He is correct that it says they are killed right away, however, the list of 15 questions is pretty old. The newere Rules changes states that its only the result of damage. So they do work.
