Sorry, newb question

No don't beat yourself up, i'm not too sure myself...

I know that some of them you can get by winning sanctioned tournaments, but there are some i don't think you can win anymore...
If you have a gaming shop near you that supports it, then your warlord should be running sanctioned tournaments, with LEs as prizes.
As a matter of fact, i beleive my venue still owes me something near 10 Les...

The best way to get LE's is tournaments. Wizkids is running campaigns so you can send in for a LE just for playing and have the chance of winning others. Then theres trading/buying, which is a good way to get specific LE's but winning them is much better IMO.

I guess they range from lvl 3 to lvl 6 can you get all kinds in the monthly tournaments? what seperates a lvl 3 from a lvl 5, is one just rarer?

The level shows rarity, just like in regular MK. All figs have a rarity level, and Uniques are lvl 6.

so is a lvl 3 le worth as much as a regular ***?

You win or come in second in a tourny....

LEs are defiantly worth more than most non-uniques. they are harder to get and sometimes better.

eBay... a good way to get LEs for a price without winning a tournament.

Its not easy, at least not to get decent ones. E-bay is the best option I have found. Trading works well, but tournaments are the most fun, try and get in on that.

***THE LE'S AND HOW TO GET THEM- PART ONE******

By playing in sanctioned tourney games (controlled by a warlord and covered by Wizkids) you can either win one and/or send in your five dollars to get a different one.

the 1st Wizkids comic book has a form you can send away with that sheet inside and five dollars to get one.

You can look at the trading areas of this site (neutral ground) or talk with friends, buy them in a bin at some stores that trade in them or even on the internet.

Naturally you can go out and buy boosters and hope for a uniQue or one of those glow in the dark things.

***LOOKING FOR GOOD FIGURES PART TWO****

The LE's are rare but it's about having a potent figure right? check out the heros from the dungeons game even if you don't care about dungeons. They are powerful character figures that are scalable and each one is like a unique in a way.

Also check out the conquest packs (that have the seige equiptment and four figures) the are powerful unique level figures.

Also look for the dungeons packs (yes even if you don't care about dungeons) they have some cross faction figures and potent figures like that infamous corpheous... plus for getting a handfull of powerful figures you know you'll get it's a real good deal.

Well in my area there arnet many tournements at all so I go to my venue and just buy them or I go on ebay and get them.

In my family we have probably 50 LE's between the 3 of us (not including Dragons). Ours have been obtained in the following manner:

1. Winning a sanctioned tourney (most of them)
2. Fellowship price (mainly my boys)
3. Traded for them....usually trading a duplicate LE for one we don't have.
4. Scenario mail in Awards of Honors
5. Picked them up in demo tourneys at Origins & Gencon
