I think that Krugg Seer better make that first healing roll.
You'll position Seer, then next turn move up the Techun formation.
Tower takes a Pierce attack on the techun - maybe hit, maybe not.. I wouldn't count on it not hitting.. then Techun's attack drops to the point that it actually has to roll decently to hit, at it is a push to attack anyways. Plus if the tower is guarded by a 14" figure (Striker would be my thought) - Techun might be in trouble if the Seer doesn't heal.
for this scenario. Mobility is one of the key benefits of Techun and in this case you likely don't need it. During Week 3 one of my players took the tower down with the Thunder Golem. That would be a good choice or an even better choice would be a good bounder. The Amazon Drac or Athene would work well. You would need a M/Ler to pull the bounder back to safety from the Tower. Two shots from the Amazon Drac and the Tower will not be very effective. I can't remember how many clicks a Light Tower has, but 10 clicks could put it at demoralized. Some chargers to take on the rest of the army and you should be set. Look out for good attackers on top of the tower (i.e. Striker) with the fortification bonus, he would be hard to hit. The yo-yo would force any such figures to come to you.
I have already used an Amazon Draconum before, and I feel that it is a little too overpowered. Especially against a piece that cant even move. I try not to use uniques more than once, and since these battles don't go on our records, I try to make it challenging, therefore, no drac.
Now, as far as the Thunder Golem is concerned, I was going to use it, but I figured that since the tower would be almost useless after one hit from the triple enhanced Tecun, I wouldn't need the extra pierce that the Thunder Golem provides. Even with the Invulnerabitlity, the Techun would need only a 6 to hit it after the 3 damage the tower would do, and Techun is a better all-around warrior, IMO.
As for the Striker, you make a good point. So maybe I should drop the orc formation for a harasser or 2, then just throw Podo in. What would you suggest for the 73 points that the formation takes up.
