I use the Channelers to soften up my opponents with their 12'' range. The BPR guys go in for the kill. Taskmaster can fight as a last resort and has command.
i agree with darkpenguin... no formations... the taskmaster would hardly do anything here... this is only a 200 point army... i'd rather field in a more battle worthy piece... like a tormented soul or something... for a ranged piece, the channeler isn't that great either...
then again, it'd be good if test it out in battle then post reports... to see how it works, if it works and "how much better it will work if..."
obviously he's just starting out. we all remember what that was like, don't we? how much more fun the game would be if everyone was more helpful/supportive? :)
anyway, Seeker Azruk, be careful with this army! you will definitely face armies with longer range, bound attack, or the like(Striker, Corpheus, Amazon Drac, OST, etc.). you have to figure out a way to deal. LI figs seem to be a very good choice (except maybe against the OST). against melee, you'll probably have problems with Ram and LI. a good charger would come in handy. you might also have trouble with figs with 19 def. the pyre spirit could be your worst nightmare.
i'd definitely take out the Taskmaster and the Fuser. that would make room for a good charger. some suggestions: ***Nightmare Reaper (42pts), ***Horned Hatchetkrugg (44pts), one of the KI mounteds.
unfortunately, the Channeler seems to be more of a support fig and not the core of the army. but i'll at least try to think of a way to use it. no promises though.
