Hrm. Let's see. Moves in a double-turn. Check. Big Guy as centerpiece, with a healer. Check. Anti-harassment. Check. ML/ram to get their support(and bonus back-up healer). Check. Well, you've certainly covered your bases. As far as what I'd do differently, that's tougher.
I like Autumn much better on level 2. I'd probably swap the Tracker for a Technomancer * and Shade ** to upgrade Autumn, but I've got a feeling you won't like that. I generally like the HHKrugg as my 4-click charger, but I see the merit in the Sislith's toughness, and the 3 points you save vs. the Cavalier only gets you a Podo or the Wandering Mochoch neither you nor I have. The only suggestion I have that might be better is drop the Tracker to a HHK and upgrade the Cav to a Heavy Lancer (I personally hate WM), but that leaves you hanging at 299. And how would you like a Scorpem Gunner instead of the Cav?
I think you may have nailed this for your style. I'd use the Krugg Seer over Astrus here, but I know you don't like him in this army. The ML/ram is a perennial fave, though I'd prefer Autum lev2 and Mochoch. (which I don't have. Chirstmas is coming, in case anyone is looking for gift ideas.) I'd want a bounder and a charger instead of 2 chargers, probalby the aforementioned Scorpem to go with the aforementioned Seer's ME. But, all this is me. We've picked at this on the clan forum, and from what you've said you want, I don't think you'll do better than this. So, it's obviously time to shelve this fellow and start over from scratch, right?
Seer or Astrus: I tryed it with both, and while the ME can be a great help, I do not like the randomness of MH. There's nothing more painful than hitting a critical healing roll, then rolling a 1. ouch.
Scorpium or Sislith: Ahhh, the age old battle. Toughness, in the end, is the biggest factor. So many people use ML/Ram, and Pyre Spirit is becomnig more popular as well. In the end, BA doesn't cut it anymore. And formations are also becoming less popular, so F/L isn't as powerful.
What Charger: Hardest choice is right here. The Cavalier's WM is always a threat, and the occasional huge hit makes up for the randomness I think. But the sure 4 damage is a factor, and it can be a huge help. I would have to tweak the army in a huge way to fit the extra 4 points though, and there isn't much to change. Always a possiblity.
Autumn: Well yes, she is weak at 1st level. But all I need from her is ML, and maybe the occassional heal when Astrus can't make it. But in all honesty, I only make one or two MLs anyway, and if they can get close enough to hurt Autumn, then they've already been hit.
I think I got all of your points, good ones too. I'm pleased with the army, but I haven't played it nearly as much as I would like. So, I'll play it a bit more and save it as my "Pride and Joy."
