Hey peoples, this is the third army I've posted thus far, and by far the favorite of the three in my opinion. I believe it to be rather unique, and to also be able to handle many situations and many types of opposing armies.
Basically I use the CM's range to its advantage, also growing off of the ME from the Shaman. The GV is there to solidify the formation, allowing the Shaman and the CM to move as one.
Formation 2: Power Snipe
Wraith-61
Faith Healer (tough) x1- 22
I know, I know, not a formation, but the FH is going to be with the Wraith basically the whole time...always behind him to avoid all ranged attacks going through him. Plus they are going to be in the forest using the Wraiths stealth ability to his advantage.
Flanker:
Fell Reaper (tough) x1-43
I fly around using his massive speed, taking out support healers and support attackers. In my opinion, one of the best figures in the game, and one of the most badazz looking.
don't get me wrong. i like the Wraith. it's still a pretty solid fig. but it only has 8" range. now that's definitely a disadvantage in today's gaming environment.
i'd be careful with that 1st formation though. eventhough a ram click wouldn't put your CM in a bad slot, it wouldn't hurt to put in a charger as a bodyguard.
What do you suggest I use instead of the Wraith/ Faith healer grouping? I have several alpha/beta figures. Elemental Priest, Magna Draconum, Magus Draconum, Magus, Neophant, Amazon Queen, High Elf General, King of the Dead, Mystic Draconum, Hierophant, and one dungeon figure which is something along the lines of Braken Drakensword or something of the like. He has forced march, weapon mastery, battle armor, etc.
Any suggestions as to what to replace the Wraith with, if it is smart to replace it at all?
I personally would keep the Wraith but frop the Faith Healer. If the healer plans on healing the Wraith that means the Wraith would have to move 8" instead of the full 12" she can move. Even thou the Wraith excels at range she can be just as badass in hand to hand. Get rid of the Faith healer and Gobbo Volunteer for another * shaman and the 7 point imp(I think it is the ** one but can't remeber for sure.)
