i'd also put a **imp to fill in the 7pts. but i'd only play this army for fun. it just wouldn't survive in a competitive environment. no chargers. only one ram resistant fig. and at least with the last the Solonavi non-uniques can make movement and close combat formations.
another reason why i say the last one would work better because, first, the non-unique Solonavis would only slow the Striker down. the Striker already works very well as a loner. secondly, its 200pts. by fielding in a 199pt army, your already giving the advantage to your opponent. lastly, you probably won't suffer so much from having too many or too few moves with the last army.
striker, Blue drone and Red channeler (199 Points)
first, the 199pts build total is ok coz you would be very offensive with this army. the army needs no turtling.
second, you wouldnt want to use a formation in this type of army. each fig goes alone and protects each other.
third, the standard drone is much better than the weak versions. it retains its sweep up to its 2nd or 3rd slot so he's still capable of doing damage and the standard versions has a higher attack rating.
lastly, if you'll compare the tgh againsts the weak version of the channeler, you'll notice that the weak version has a higher attack rating when he goes berserk compared to the tgh one. nonetheless i still choose the tgh version due to its high healing capabilities and high attack rating.
this army is well suited in a tourny with a single faction theme.
