Ok I haven't took the time to sit down and look to see if this has been said since it just happened but I have a fig that has the Ability to move and stop in water. Iron Lung if you need to know that fig. But I was just playing and he was in water when he was hit and lost his Water Ability. What happens to my fig?
If he loses aquatic while in deep water he will drown! But in close combat only games you can use him to capture people and then drag them into deep water and drown them! In shallow water he would just loose the protection of stealthness.
If an Aquatic figure is in Deep Water and loses the ability he is illegally placed in blocking terrain and immediately eliminated. He counts as a "killed" figure.

RooMan613, there is no "Stealthiness" benefit to having Aquatic in water: I think there should be, but there isn't. The only benefit to Aqautic in water is that movement is not effected.
Originally posted by Balduvian There's no "stealth rule" for shallow water either.
Water terrain never has any effect on ranged attacks.
I think that's what he means. Shallow water isn't hindering for anything but movement & thus Stealth doesn't apply (of course, how he got that mixed up with Aquatic is a separate mystery).
I agree there OUGHT to be a Defense benefit to having Aquatic in Water. I also think that Stealth OUGHT to give you the movement benefit in Hindering that Aquatic does in Water. Unfortunately, that's not the way it works...:(
some bonus on aquatic will really help those units ...
altantis currently has alot of aquatic figs that are not that really useful, specially now that they have heroes ...
