I was just looking at the Fell Reaper and realized they sorta looked like the Ring Wraiths from LOTR: the Two Towers. So jsut as a fun army I was thinking

The Fell Reapers are the attackers and to show that they never really die I added 2 figs with Necromancy. Personally I think it'd be an awesome sight to see 9 Fell Reapers being fielded.



BTW: Forgot to mention that this would be in a 400 pt battle.

I would rather use 9 Nightmare Reapers ***, downgrading the Nightwitch.

1. throw out the necromancers for healers
2. use ***Fell Reapers
3. group them in formations

We played a "King of the Dead" head to head game, and I fielded The King of the Dead and three Fell Reapers....it was an incedible sight!!

Those figures are some of the coolest I have ever seen!

I like the Spectres for the Ringwraiths, but they cant move in formation!

also. Plus, you definitely want a healer since they aren't necroed back at full strength. The Specters do look like the Ring Wraiths.

well, iD100o, what other Fells or Nightmares do you have? it doesn't even have to be a Reaper. it can be a Banshee. we just have to move a few points around.

Ummm... Fell Reapers don't fit the LOTR theme. Stick with Nightmare Reapers!!!
Rocking Idea though. Now I need 9 *** NMR!!!

Actually, Fell Reapers do fit the theme because in the second and third books of LOTR, the Nazgul (or Ringwraiths) fly on mounts because their horses were killed by the elves' magic at the Ford of Bruien (sp?). And the King of the Dead really does look like what the third book describes as the leader of the Nazgul. Maybe they'll use the King of the Dead look in the third movie. Good idea, now I just need more *** Fell Reapers.

I would add some kind of healing to the army maybe a crystal protector and a grave digger and hide them. Maybe you could one of the reapers on a fell beast and make him the Witch-King.

yep, healing is a must for fells. it is really annoying when you hit one then it just moves away, gets haeled, then comes back for more.
