I know i sound like a real newb and i guess i am, but can anyone give me a good explination of some tactics listed, mainly things like yo-yo, and all stuff associated with ram?
Alright, i'll explain these two strategies, they both involve loopholes in the rules, specifically both involving ML.
Since ML states that you can move a warrior who was in base contact at the start of the turn, the warrior can use an action before being levitated. In Yo-Yo, that action is bounding. You bound X" forward, and shoot Y", for a final range of X"+Y". Then, the magic levitator who was in base contact at the start of the turn levitates the bounder backwards, back into base to repeat the same process. Although it does take two actions, it gives you anywhere from a 15" to 20" range. This is huge, and in most peoples opinions, gamebreakingly huge. I dont' consider it that bad.
Now ML/Ram is trickier, and takes some experiance with the rules to follow. In the ram rules it says ram deals a click to any person in its front arc after he moves into base contact with someone. MLing the figure is considered moving it. So you can move your assorted rammer his movement, X, and fling him a further 10" while still activating ram. This can get you a click of ram anywhere from 0" to 22" away. You can also "Stack" the ram damage (NOTE, THE RAM CLICKS ARE APPLIED SEPERATELY). Since ram activates when you ML the figure as well, what you can do is move the ram figure into base contact, activating ram and dealing a click of damage, then ML him using the loophole out of an into base contact, dealing a second click. This gets even more evil once you have mutiple levitators. With 6 levitators and a ***War Hatchetkrugg, you can deal a click of damage 70" away (7 actions), or 2 clicks of damage 60" and closer, 3 at 50" and closer, and it goes on like that.
