which figure is the best non in the rebellion series to you? my own personal fav is the shaman other good ones are the demi magus skeletons zombies and who can forget the amotep gunners

Reasons:
1.) The only top piece from Rebellion not reprinted in Unlimited!
2.) A defining piece for the EL faction! One of the few.
3.) The first (with the gunner) power range non!
4.) He just looks cool!

Demi Magus, as they inspired the first major threat on the tourney scene (Death Star).

Defenitively, i would say the *** amhotep gunner! The demi-magus are not bad too...

amotep gunner *** is a great piece and I do agree it is probably the most powerful...

However, I really like ***Blade Golems.

Best piece Troll Artillerist! Teams them up with Splinters(LE Thorn Madien) Defend and look out.

Most used figures in my armies for over two years yellow imps and shades. I always have a few in my case just to round off armies.

The most consistently used piece from rebellion was probably the shade.

I would vote for the Shade too, I have 6 of the, in all colours although I started long after rebellion. Love those guys - they capture better than mancatchers, must be the grip of death!

my first pick is crystal bladesman. they were about to rule the tourny scene before ram and break away damage hit the market. way back in the day the best army i had ever seen was treetops $4 army. i am sure that army is still on this site somewhere, hiding from us all.

second choise is the shade, they could slow down most any blitz army or keep a big boy in check long enough to get to him with the main force.

I agree with sentinal007, the Troll Artillerist is my personal favorite non-unique from rebelion.
Another awsome figure would be Steam Golem. His only flaw is the 10" range.

The Artillerist rules in my book. Perhaps Rebellion and Whirlwind were the only times the EL got any real lovin'.

***Amotep Gunner, just hard to make an army without them.

I automatically thought of the ***Troll Artillerist when I saw this post. These figures are very well rounded. Steam Golems are a close 2nd. Bost have excellent destructive capabilities.
