here it is for all you wizards, if a fig with venom attacks a fig with MR, misses, inflicts an auto click, does MR deal them a click?

No because they didn't recieve damage from the attack, they recieved damage from the SA.

I would disagree. Venom is attack damage, not SA damage, and is clearly specified as such. Thus an attack with Venom that misses still inflicts 1 attack damage. That attack damage will trigger Magic Retaliation.

Directly from the SA in Pyramids:


Venom (Red Circle)
This warrior inflicts 1 click of damage even if his ranged or close combat attack misses the target. When this warrior makes a ranged or close combat attack, add 1 to his damage value. If the attack misses, inflict 1 click of damage on the target figure. The damage from Venom is considered part of the attack damage, and not a special ability damage effect.

The key words here are "if damaged in an attack". If it said "is hit by an attack" then "no", MR would not kick in, but with the current wording then "yes" MR would deliver a click of damage.

I don't have a Pyrimids SA card:(. I should really get one so I don't give answers that used to be correct but arn't anymore.
