a thunderdoom troll as with all the EL needs a healer. i would suggest 3 * crystal protectors because you can advance TDT behind them and charge when you reach the big fig.

I once played a 200 pint army with a thunder doom troll.
It consisted of:

Thunderdoom troll 90 (duh!!!)
Sithlis tracker *** 49
Sithlis tracker ** 47
Barber surgeon * 14
total 200

Have the thunderdoom go right up the center into charging distance use bloking terrain to your advantage and have the trackers do a pincer attack the enemy wiull have no choice but to slowly reatreat the surgen is in there for healing, and to make it a perfect 200 pts.

You could replace the sislith tracker ** with a scorpem gunner *** who's much better and has more range.

Go with a healer or two, the THT (thunderdoom troll)
and a steam golem.

fill it up with crystal bladesman.
