I understand a Titan can used indirect fire to ,say, shoot over a low wall to hit a character with stealth, but what if the figure's base in entirely in the hindering terrian? Does indirect fire ignore it then as well, thus being able to hit the figure? Thanks
Donald
Low walls are special cases. Unless the figure is next to it, the stealth takes no effect. If they are in a piece of hindering terrain, only Magic Blast, or Flame Lightning (indirectly of course) can touch it.
Indirect fire allows you to hit figures that have Stealth while in hindering terrain since indirect fire ignores intervening blocking terrain and is not hindered by the presense of hindering terrain. Since line of fires drawn to figures with Stealth are treated as lines of fires being drawn to blocking terrain, indirect fire will affect a figure with Stealth.
BlueBlazer: agreed.
PhantasyIV: I'm not sure what you're saying here. Unless the firer is in contct with the low wall, if the line of fire crosses a low wall it crosses hindering terrain.
Its the same as magic blast. The rules for stealth say that any line of fire drawn to this figure through hindering terrain is considered blocked. If you use indirect fire, the line of fire can't be considered blocked, so therefore, it isn't.
