Today i played my first game of dungeons with a master adversary token. We used a Demiphant and it betat the **** out of us. For a 100 point game, who is a balanced adversary to use? One that will be a challenge, but wont be too tough.

Also, what about lone wolf games? Who do you use for the master token then?

Heh.. even in a team game the wraith is a difficult opponent.

The gatelord can be too tough even for a 100pt game. I suggest some of the Pyramid uniques. The Jackal is a great 'weak' adversary, for a more enjoyable and survivable game. Also, the Minions (Fire, etc) make excellent opponents.

How's this for a kick, try using Amazon mancatchers as spawn. They wreck teams pretty quickly witht hat 12 attack.

I've used the Elemental Minions from Dungeons, and the Mummy unique (can't remember which MK set it's from). But any of the unique figures over 50 points should be okay, it all depends upon the level of challenge you want, and how well the teams are likely to do against the level of Mage Spawn tokens you choose to use. The higher the level of MS token used the higher the likelyhood of the heroes being hurt when they reach the Master Adversary token. The more hurt thr heroes, the less chance they will have against the MA.

How about the Chimeric Worm (any level) from Minions, just when you think you got it beat it gets new stats.

We didnt even get to the master adversary yesterday. The other hero critically missed an attack on a blade golem, which critacally hit it's counter attack. I just ran out with my 500 or so gold and a crown that gave Mr. Mock quickness :D .

We use the biggest and baddest figure that we have....Eldritch Draconum is a beatstick.....Healing & Enhacement, and a 20 defense!

Mummy Draconum is a no-brainer....this guy shows up = no Heros....heh heh heh..

Any Draconum or Solonavi Figure is fun as well....

Sic the Arcane Draconum on em. 14 range magic blast with a 15 to hit, 19 def with invulnerability, flight . . . ouch. (No, I never did this to anyone :D )

I forgot to mention the base 5 damage . . . one hit and your level 5 hero is a rookie all over again :) .

For mymaster advisaries i use dragons. they may not be ethical but they r really fun

Revenant Priest? He has healing as well as other good stuff. How much worse can it get than to have beaten on a monster, then have it come back, ready to kick butt! Also if you have Grizaphus, he makes a mean adversary as well.

Wow! I opened a trap and a Werebear took my whole team out! I should have just run away ...

Generally, we've used a minion, usually a Water Minion sprouting from an Artifact pond and no MA token.

Grizaphus, Magus, Summoner, Wraith, and a Shyft Matriarch are fun opponents. The Matriarch is a beatstick in dungeons too.

I always like trying to beat a Desert Bladestalker. Magic Blast with her Dodge and Quickness. She can be a real large hassle and most of the time we will all team up against her.
