You know, I like the Fuser, I see mucho potential here and would like to compare simlar point costed figures. Yes, I know the Steamer is 2 points less, but im sure if the steamer was multi faction he would cost as much if not more. So i think its a fair comparison. So lets see here.
Movement:
Okay Generally speaking, the Fuser retains his speed better, on his last click he has a movment of 5 while the steamer has (on the same click) is moving at 4, so the Fuser can move around just abit faster.
Speed: Fuser
Attack:
This really is no comparison, the Fuser has a MUCH higher and longer attack value than the Steamer. Even though the steamer retains the attack value of 9 for 3 clicks, the Fuser hops back up to a WHOPPING 11 for his berke slot, making him highly effective. Besides, normaly by this time your engaged in close combat.
Attack: Fuser
Defense:
Okay heres where the steamer has the Steamer has the fuser beat..or does he? The Fuser not only has one more click of toughness, but he also gains the awsome ability of PA poreventing him from being charged later on. I dunno about you, but i prefer those over a rapdily dropping defense like the Steamer.
Defense: Fuser
Damage:
Steamer of course. 4 clicks of 4 range is alot better thqan 4 clicks clost.
Damage: Steamer
Range: 10 vs. 12...ill pay the 2 poiints for the 2.
So all in all I see the fuser as a GREAT alternative to the Steamer Standard.
Just remeber you can not make a range combat attack whiel berzerk. I am sure you do know this but that means that 11 attack is only good in close combat. All and all I think it is a good addition to both factions
He probabaly won't take the place of steamers but he will for orc lovers. By the way when uprising comes out I would like to trade for a whole lot of ***fuser orcs.
________ Yamaha Grizzly 600
________ Honda Mb/T/X Series
I'm just friggin' glad this set is introducing some orcs. Orky orcs too, not no iron clad thing ( i realize these are great figures ) or a friggin' rebel in orcs clothes ( okay, dodge has it's ups...)
Nice job on the review! It is nice to see a well thought out look at the new figures...
The 12" range is going to work well in a combat formation with my Dwarven Jarl....and his sculpt is actually dwarf sized, so how cool is he going to look with two of these belligerent gunslingers on each side of him?
I love the comparison, but I just have one question:
Who uses a ** Steamer anyways? The red and yellow, though costing more and less respectively, are much more efficient for that particular piece. Just my opinion, really.
But still your review is promising for the new Orc! Keep up with the reviews! :)

Grathel, you forgot something else....The Fuser Orc has Shockwave! Not only is he a great figure, but he is also the first non-unique 12 inch Shockwaver!
These guys will dominate with shaman for ME/healing!
12" Shockwave you say? In that case, it kicks the CRUDE out of the ** Steamer!! It's completely superior at that point! :)

Now....If only the * and ** versions had a 12 inch range...
Would I be right in saying that a ***Fuser Orc, paired with Snurga and some Launchers and Shamans, and a clurch piper, would be an AMAZING conquest formation?
Yup I know he has SW, and yeah i know he cant use range in close combat, rmember I said "which is great cause your normaly in close combat anywyas.":D thanks for the priase folks
Wow...it is cool to see that the Orcs finally got themselves a great powerful long range piece. And Im sure you've heard it before..but, nice review on that.
