Granted, the army is fast with quickness, but I think the biggest weakness is that it still slow, with a 10 inch move being the fastest I have.
The Detonating Zombie is definitely negotiable, but I like it, so I put it in, if anyone can come up with a better figure that hits that hard and can also take care of dodge, toughness, invul., etc.(shockwave!), let me know, and I'll take it under advisement!
Thanks!
This is also in the "rate by a lion" thread, but I thought I'd repost to give people a chance to see it who haven't checked that thread out (which you should, it's a great thread!).
Yeesh, I don't know why I didn't see this before, but I took out the Zombie and the * Amazon, and then added in a War Hatchet Krugg, thus making my army 199, but added a rammer. I think this army is a bit scarier looking now:
OoU-88
**, *** Amazon Mancatcher-19, 24
Marrow-28
War Hatchetkrugg on War Yak-40
one ability that would be good in this campaign is nimble. If you get based by a unit that doesn't have charge, you could choose not to use the free spin and then later turn to meet the threat.
Yeah, I know, but I don't really have any good necro with nimble(is there any?)so I decided to just go with a really heavy sneak attacker, hence OoU.
Toughness will also be a very good ability, which sucks if you play Necro, but is really too cool if you play element. I guess the two factions have canceled each other out in availability of special abilities.
Yeah, I did use sneak attack (the main feature on the OoU).
I realize that about the Necro, but I still like to at least have 1/3 of points follow the theme, and I'm not one to use sneak attack usually, so I figure if I'm going to use it this time, might as go with the second coolest figure with (the first coolest being the mortis, which I sadly do not have). Anyway, that's why I chose the OoU.
