I was thinking about this army when I saw the "Ask the lions" thread and placed it there.

I was going to put an answer to Tsetsuki´s suggestions, but there really isn´t the place to discuss an army further, just to get a first opinion.

The original version is:

KI Charger - 101
Passenger: Jarl Frostriven LvL 3 - 54

Wind Minion - 85
Crystal Protector ** - 15
Shadow ** - 36
Imp ** - 7

300 pts on the dot.

I explained it very poorly in the lion´s thread, the idea isn´t to run the KI up front but to use it as a bodyguard to the LI figs.
As the Windy can threaten without being shot it can lure the opponents out of hiding where the Charger can get to them.

So the most important part is the Windy and KI charger.

Even for the wrong reasons I think Tsetsuki´s idea is a better option:

I was so troubled by the idea of putting every LI I could fit I forgot about my favorite warrior the *** fell reaper.

It seems I have my KIC army is ready to rumble.

Correction:

Jedi_Master just called my attention to the fact that this army is 2 point short, easily correct changing the CP from ** to ***.

Narog, maybe I'm missing something, but it seems like there may be a fundamental problem with using the KI charger (chariot) as a bodyguard (if in fact that's what you intend). In a 300 pointer you will likely run up against one possibly 2 heavy hitters or big bounders. Obviously the AD is what immediately comes to mind. I would be worried that an AmDrac could cut through your bodyguards defense very effectively. Just some thoughts. What am I missing ?

The Big bounders are exactly why the KIC is being used as a bodyguard, the Windy can threaten the AD while covered by the KIC and the KIC can be out of the AD range.

So you can think in the KIC as a bodyguard or in the WindMinion as live bait. :-)
