We have heard many complaints about 2.0. If it was up to you and you could only change one thing, what would it be?
Below I have listed catagories, not rules. We can argue endlessly on the best way to change this or that. Lets assume that the thing we want fixed, actually would be fixed to our satisfaction by WK. You just have to choose what is the most important thing to change. Vote for one of these choices.
1. Make figures with charge from 1.0 viable and worth thier points in 2.0, without being overpowered for any figure.
2. Make factions from 1.0 and 2.0 compatable in formations.
3. Fix the victory conditions and make the objectives be a great way to play the game.
4. Reduce the power of capture.
5. Make sure there are no uberfigures, and no ULTRA figures from the combination of a relic and a unique.
6. Make old uniques able to use relics.
7. Make bound as good as it was before.
8. Leave the old melee formation rules as an option rather than replacing them with gang up.
9. Make sure Conquest exist seperately from MK.
Vote for one of these. One only. Or add your own and number it (10 ... 11 ...) so others can vote for your idea.
Remember we are not voting for specific rule changes here so don't submit any. Simply which topic is most important to you.
Option number 10... wait until the game actually comes out to start reccommending changes.
I'll go with option number ten, I'm pretty sure the people working round the clock at wizkids understand the game mechanx just as well as anyone else on this board (and probably better). If you think you could do a better job making a game then do it. All of this whining is getting pretty childish.
Anyways, wait until you can say 'I told you so' before this whining goes any further. In hindsight it will make you look like less of a dumb-###,
I think domains should be legal in tourn. If you bring one you can play it. in casual play, shure, if you both dont have one then its a fun game and dont allow..
11. I vote for the EXACT same thing that I've wanted since well before 2.0 was anounced. Combat formations to be worded like this: 2-5 figures, +1/+1 for each helper. Get rid of that gangup nonsense. Get rid of ranged formations for 1.0 figures and another ranged formation rule for 2.0 figures.
Infact, you could consider this more than a vote - it is a litmus test. The ridiculous formation rules that 2.0 demo rules list are definately more than enough to convince me that 2.0 isn't for me.
Army C thanks for starting this thread. It's interesting to see the relative weight of peoples concerns. Based on what I've seen so far, I vote for number 2. If some of the old major factions dissappear, I'll be real unhappy. My vote for second place is number one. At the moment, things don't look good for chargers. When the final 2.0 rules come out, maybe I'll change my mind, but for now these are just my dumb-### opinions.
By the way, my concerns about the 2.0 rules that have been released so far are serious enough that I'm going to wait for the final rules to come out before making any large purchases of 2.0. The most important issue for me is that 1.0 figures remain viable.
