This army would have been pretty scary this time last year. Now, however, in an Amazon Drac, Bakus and Magus Anendu heavy environment, it has some bad matchups that would prevent it from winning a serious tournament.
Also, once your chariot shows 3 skulls you opponent gets 1/2 the points. Running up against a Am Drac, or some of the uber-uniques that I'm sure will surface in 2.0 will weaken your chariot quickly. Also, not sure a skeleton is the best choice for a passenger. No range and one good pass through hit and so long skeleton.
I normally try to give positives on anyone's armies, but I guess in todays environment there are too many risks in playing a chariot without a solid ranged passenger and good charging or LI support to keep your chariot clean of melee nasties and to block los.
I agree that the Amazon may cause trouble for builds like this. Having said that I think that this army has a lot of strong match ups versus a pretty diverse field of armies. Also it may be an excellent choice if your facing a chariot heavy environment as it should dominate an opposing chariot army. It also would be a great choice if players in your area favor things like swiss style or similar armies.
I personally shy away from playing the big bounders in 200 because of there weakness to strong charge and swiss style armies. This type of army would be very difficult for me to deal with when using my normal style of armies.
Also terrain can be used very effectively versus things like Amazon Dracs. When played properly a chariot can actually get first strike on an Amazon. The only problem is the 50/50 of dodge. Combining the chariot with an OST may do wonders to solve that problem by using indirect fire and blocking terrain to pick and choose your fights.
I consider this a pretty innovative build. The skeleton as a passanger is risky, but not foolish. Even with a lucky blow through you still have the effectiveness of the other side of the chariot (and front) to fight with as well as the OST.
But i do agree that anybody's strategy with a chariot - OST army would work. Amdrac will definitely push in 200pt armies, she's expensive and has a shallow dial. It's all pros and cons. The cheesiest thing in MK is the wait and attack tactics of people with big bound. In my opinion though, the OST's too slow a counterpart for the chariot's speed. Anyway, the army's fun and agreeable to titan lovers.
