300 points. i call this my vampire air assault team!
at the center of the assault is jess blacklock firing his twin black powder pistols! astrus is of course, the army's doctor. other figs can fairly fend for themselves and do great damage. i use the venomers often against figs with magic retal. the terror hunts out those who have LI. i make use of blocking terrain to hinder enemy movement and line of fire. my army has flight, i can easily move around. what do you think, guys?
Personally, I'd use Foster Grey, if you can. I beleive he is cheaper, and has one more arrow. Also, I'd use something other than the Zombie, if you can. Unless you plan on using it as clean-up or harrassment.
thats why the DWZombie is there, for harassment. plus, i dont have a foster grey. and you didnt say what you think about this army. i made this cause its fun to play. specially against a player with a short temper. i love to run this team around.
I think that this army is wonderfull, because now days i can only think about vampires, and your army gave me some light!!!!! The only reason, to me, tihs army isn't perfect is that it is 300 pointer if you just make a 200 version it would be great!!!!! Soon i will be posting some of the armys that i builded!!!!

but in level 5, jess blacklock has this what i call "pushability". meaning like most werecreatures, push him and he becomes more tactically efficient.
i guarantee that i will pass on the kindness of the Filipino warlords to every realmer i bump into. thanks
whats the point of pushing? if you are planing on pushig jess inot his next slot, than why not start him in that slot, save some points, and add another fig. in 4th level he can still be pushed, because his next slot has vampirism, so you will heal back anywayz. just a thought. Peace.
Thinking again, i completely agree with MajorGlitch the Foster Grey could the power of your army givin you semo points, taking this and the 200 detail this army have the perfect choice of the pieces and its rank, you already playtested him???? Well the army that i talked about is this:
This is only one version of it but if think this is the most powerfull of them. Some people prefer the rancid** so you could raise you screeting terror to ***. In the army i have tha VDrac your main attacker that don't need to talk, than you have the astrus lv. 3 a very usefull "healkill", the venomous assasin the rancid and for the last the screeting terror tha shockwaver with itr you handle with LI and can give some back up, harrasing or snipering!!! So this is it tell me what do you think!!!!!!!!
oh astrus I was just messin sorry if i offended you I kinda do that to people any way about the army I think it is nice i personally don't play the screeching terror but I can see how it would be affective in this army
about that 200 point vampire army, very good! very mobile. very lethal. an important observation though- at level 3, astrus doesnt have necromancy. you'll be needing it.
Thanks for the comments, so why don't you create a vampire assault team in 200. I think i don't need the astrus necromancy because i already have it in the VDrac and he has vampirism so it don't will die that easy, another think he is the expensive piece in the army so i will take extra care about him, but anyway what do you suggest me to do??? So, if you can, show me a 200 vampire air assault!!!!! One last thing, you already playtested this army??? if yes, put here something about the game!!!!!!!
i am still working on the 200 point vampire air assault army. i will post it as soon as i am finished building it.
yes i have tested this army. fun to play. virtually swarm-proof because with flight, it isnt really that hard to break away. bound-proff because with the proper placing of blocking terrain, you can fly over a wall and out of range with ease.
one tough game was that one against an amazon huntress-led army. JB has an 8" range, the huntress has 12". i cant get anywhere near her. plus she nimbles around. this is where JB's "pushability" comes in. to illustrate:
i moved in JB just outside the huntress' range. on my next turn, i pushed JB an inch in front of the huntress- i gave him LI and placed him in a position where he can shoot the huntress. now the next problem was magic retal. using JB as a shield, i moved in the rancids. astrus also to a place where JB blocks the huntress line of fire - to do much needed healing.
all in all it was a tough battle. i got the screeching terror killed, my other figs engaged in a bloody combat against mounted kruggs! and JB got killed too. booh-hooh. it was a good thing astrus, with his toughness, stayed long. there were rammerkruggs all over him! but what was great about it is that i venomed the huntress to her death! MWAHAHAHAHA!
-so you see, it was neither flight nor vampirism that saved my day!
