Me and my friends have been playing around with the new 2.0 rules one of the things that I have a problem with is that my friends base me and the 3/4 through their turn they decide that they want to surge. I for one don't think this is right but they don't seem to mind doing it. I think that you need to say that you are going to surge with that figure or base. I just asking to see what everyone thinks about that.
You are correct sir. You have to make the move, take the click then attack in that order. You have to declare your use of the SA and you cannot take other actions between any of those steps.
Agreed, you have to complete a figure's action before moving on to another figure. You also have to announce your action basically, so it would seem that you would have to say you are doing it before you move your character.
Technically, a Surge is a Close Combat action, while moving is a Move action.
If your opponent moved his figure and did not attack at that time, it is assumed that he gave the figure a Move action. Thus, he cannot later change his mind and act as if he had given the figure a Close Combat action.
Question: Surge is like charge but with the click of damage... so the Solonavis will be still playable in mk 2.0. Because the Striker can move 14 inch to base contact with other figure and the make a close combat action (of course take the click of surge) and deliver 4 clicks of damage?
LMK
