Alright, so he's FAR too expensive, that doesnt mean you cant make an army with him in it. I've seen Arcane armies, after all (They just always lose :D ). So...
What would be good support for this guy?
I definately think a CP should be included. Auto-damage? Melee monster?

I think the only way to use this big fat Draconum is in a Conquest game 1000 or more points! In a 300 point game i always kill him^^!

I played with army 1 and, suprisingly, mopped the floor even though they had LI and the new magic immunity.

both are good armies, and have their different uses. I like the second, because you can leave the 2 non healers guarding your objective, and send up your drac and your healer to wipe up your opponents.

So not exactly an easy army to face off against with a ranged magic person, and they also had Magestone strip mine domain. :o I missed half the time...

i'm thinking use him in conjunction with a formation of cry stal protectors preferably b for the added second click of healing. The crystal protectors form a moving wall so you won't get your ### blasted by range. then throw in a melee fighter or two so you're not totally defenceless against limited invisibility or charge. Maybe dodge would help. But this is what I would do:

2**Stalking skeletons-23 each
**Crystal Protector-15
2*Crystal Protectors-13 each

For a total of 299 pts.

I feel this would be a great army because it can confront and defeat practically any army sent against it unless someone builds an army for the sole purpose of taking down the 214 pt.n beast

Remember CP's have flight so they cant be in formations anymore.
Vith, from what I saw, really doesnt have to worry about range with a 21 defense against it :)
(+2 Invul, +1 height modify when soaring)
