Hello, about the team Caldera and the deathsinger are good choices to start off with. Souldrinker is a good Idea but the vampire archers are a bit high in point value. It may be a good idea to try and get a few more foot soilders for the points that you would spend on those archers.
I picked the Archers, because of their Lifedrain. Is that not a good idea?
And, I was going to try and keep them, in base contact with Caldera, so the Defend would be used. I thought, since they had a range of 12, they would make good back-up, while trying to move Caldera into postion.
If the Archers, aren't a good idea, what would be better? I don't have alot yet, but I can probably find it, if I don't have it.

I'm not sure what you mean exactly. Lets say Caldera is on her starting slot with a 12 attack w/ Thunderblow. You use Thunderblow and assume that you hit... you can attack again but decrease her attack value by 1... making it 11 and increase her damage by 1 making it 5.... if you suceed again... decrease her attack by 1... making it 10 and increase her damage by 1...making it 6, etc.
You can only attack 3 additional times due to the Rule of 3.
stormrider99 is right. You're probably confusing the Broken Tusk ability with Thunderblow since they are similar, I know I do it all of the time. the Broken Tusk Reckless ability gives your figure damage to damage the opponent, Thunderblow does not. Hope this helps.

Not to talk up another game here, but unfortunately (in my opinion) we may be seeing the Rule of 3 in HC soon. Notice the most recent FAQ defines modifiers and replacement values.

Yeah, that's the only reason, I knew what it was... Thankfully, there's no Con Artists, in MK... lol
Again, the defend ability will not be very effective. Second, you really wouldnt soar anymore unless you need to take out a big soaring threat. You would need to go down, so the vampire archer might not be able to benefit from the defent. Third, you wouldnt use the amazon scout, anyway. Swap her for an orc or elf.
You would want more range, in my opinion, so i would swap the vampire archer for weak elven archers, and remove the amazon scout.
