I'm just starting out (2 days ago!) and am in the process of building an army. I played with this one today and it was actually fairly decent:

But then I got a nifty relic and my friend suggested this team:

U017 Mending Priestess 26 pts

Total 296 pts

I think i could replace Kierin in the second team w/

What do you think?

My math might be off (it's 1:32am) but maybe you might have some suggestions. I don't have too many pieces since I just started this weekend (although I was lucky enough to get 3 heros in as many boxes..Drakor is really neat looking..). The teams seem a little haphazard, but the strategies and formations that go along with them really rock. Too bad I can't post them here.

I forgot to ad: Eventually, when I get enough pieces, I'd like to be faction pure with the Elven Lords (maybe even subfaction w/free armies) so if you have any good teams throw them at me!

I like the elven lords to. This is a good army, with Kierin and so.
But why a mending priestess?

Formation 1
2 x ** Cloud warrior - 86
** Aprentice Conjuror - 30
** War Priestess - 37

Formation 2
3 x ** Master Archer - 108
** War Priestess - 37

This is a rather potent Free armies army.....It has firepower for range, good CC units and moves the CC at 10 and both have pathfinder so use hindering terrain domains.....Only real problem would be an opposing Stormgale or your healers getting damaged since they can't heal each other (due to :mi: ), but over all it should do decently....besides Straight sub-faction looks cool...

Simply because I needed some sort of a healer but hadn't gotten a War Priestess yet..

Saberslash: Nice suggestion, although I still need a conjuror. But when I get one I'll definitely give that army a try. :-)
