Well Skullcraker, when he surges his opponent gets a free spin, so the surge and Sneak attck think, wont work, but its still nice...maybe not competitive enough...but still a nice army.
Baran is one of those figures that is too good to completely ignore. Your armies are a good start, but I don't think Rava goes well with Baran. Try a less expensive bounder instead. What he needs is some nice sturdy close combat support to follow him into battle after the initial sneak attack surge. Try some 28-inch move and 14-inch surge Fell Reapers for this. The Rivvenguards don't belong either. In 2.0 they lose their potency, because they lack the ability to surge and maintain good stats and therefore will never get the first important attack. Also, in your first army the blood shaman is a good choice (with hex to make sure Baran doesn't miss the sneak) but the Crystal Protector is unnecessary. In the second army, you can free up more points for werewolves by removing Rava and maybe the Crusader Priest as well (the current format doesn't make any sense - only 2 mage spawn and a 44 pt. summoner?). But I like the inclusion of Revenant in this army - to back up Baran after the sneak. Good luck, and way to use an obscure figure like Baran as the centerpiece of an army.
