Sure, Scattershot isn't the most competitive figure, but he is fun to play with. I've been running this army to some success:

Scattershot, the golem and the phooka stay together. The golem is for field repair, and the phooka enhances scattershot and the infantry golem. I try to get scattershot on the closest objective and fire away. My favorite bombardment strategy is to constantly bombard objective tokens. It works...sometimes.

Domain use is varied. I've tried Downpour, which kills soaring and makes it harder to get to Scattershot, I've tried Smoke and fog, which limits range to 8, but still allows me to have a 16 in range, and I've tried a few others too.

It may not be tournament grade or able to deal with most popular builds, but it's really fun to play
