who knows when issue #2 comes out?

I love everything about this comic so far. nothing like a crazy old arthritic wolvie.

He still looks like he keeps in shape though. If he wasnt 5 feet nothing I would say he could go toe to toe with CONAN the way they draw him. (well minus the regen and claws, by Krom what am i saying??!?) hopefully it makes sense to someone.

But if anyone knows when the next issue comes out or has any insight on the series... I'm all ears.

I will withhold my opinion on the series until a couple more issues are out. But I can say I don't like the art.

It's slated for Dec 31rst.

I'm not sure about the release date, but I've found the series to be thus far disappointing. What's up with Sabertooth dying before Mystique? It seems to be playing off of the success of Origin. It doesn't bother me that they're running it--but it doesn't feel very epic for the failing hero.

Funny that you bring Conan up. It has been rumored that Arnie would reprise the role of Conan for a final 'huzahh'. The screen writer (John Milius) would be playing homage to 'Ulysses' by James Joyce in which the dying king takes up the sword for one last adventure. It seems that the powers that be have similar plans for the Governor and the Canuck?

it's wierd how this comic is 70 something years in the future supposedly featuring Logan's death and New X-men #151 is 150 years in the future and features a very spry looking Logan. Hmmm.

I think the Grant Morrison comic is supposed to be a What If?-type tale. I don't think it is supposed to fit into continuity.

that explains a lot. Logan sure ages in better in Morrison's book though. Not even a grey hair.

i thought the whole "the end" series line was how Marvel says it "ends" for each hero?

I want a Gambit :The End. hehe. but for keeps.

I dont really read much marvel but as far as the art goes. I like the stuff in wolvie the end WAY more than some of the x-books i looked at.

who knows though, maybe sabretooth is alive and in japan waiting for wolvie.

At Victor's (Sabertooth's) funeral I saw Mystique, The Blob and I cant tell who the other one was. I think it was Toad. Can someone shed some light on the subject?
