The Disruptor relic (# 105) states:

"No figure with the WAND attack type or GOLEM damage type within an 8" area of effect of the wielder can make ranged combat attacks"

Does this apply to the wielder as well ? If the Wielder has a wand attack type, can it make a ranged combat action ?

The wording leads me to believe it's everyone in the 8" area of effect but not the wielder itself.

Would appreciate comments.

Yes, it applies to the wielder, too (been ruled on by sz13). So, no wand attacks by the wielder (of course, you can always drop it).

No official rulings I can see, so I'm going to agree with you. The wielder wouldn't be included.

Disruptor also makes flying figs drop to the ground. Since figs can be under flying mounts bases, what happens when disruptor is used then?

If a flying mount cannot be placed at ground level, it is eliminated. And if it is a part of a mounted unit and the rider does not have the wing speed type (don't think a Featherplate wielder counts for this, based on the game text of the relic), the rider is eliminated as well.

Nope. Says so on page 12 of the FAQ.

So, what happens if there is a figure's base under a soaring cavalry unit? With only 1 flight stand, there is space for this to happen...
