Here is what it says on the card

"Only WAND ranged combat attacks can be made until the beginning of your next command phase"


At severe risk of sounding silly (which is invariable), which of the following intepretations you would accept if this question were posed to you during the nationals?

1. When you make a ranged combat action, it can only be wand type, no sword and bow attacks

2. When you make an attack of any kind, it can only be wand attacks, not even melee can be done

3. The only kind of action that can be taken is wand attack type, this means no figure can move or attack or special actions.


Well, it might seem straightforward to some, but its vague as heck to me, enlighten me please!

#1 is correct. Indeed, sz13 has ruled on this. Since he's running the Nationals, I think you can be sure that's how any rulings will go (if not, appeal to him).

Just to clarify for my own understanding, that means that melee is permitted with Storm Maul's 3rd option?

Yes, it has been ruled so by sigmazero, the only attacks affected are range attacks
