i have 30 dollars and I am going to HobbyTown tomorrow to get some mage knight boosters. I don't know what to get, 2.0 or dark riders. What would you buy?

I would by the MK, as I somehow ended up with a lot of DR, and I want more MK relics/domains/CT (I like collecting the CT :D)...

I would get a mix of both, that way you'll get some good non's from 2.0 and some of the mount/rider combos from Dark Riders.

it depends on what faction(s) you like for instance if you are an Elemental freeholds person i would go with more Dark Riders if you are lets say a BPR kind of person i would defenetly take the 2.0 but its really up to you and either way i would get a mix but i would figure the ratio based on what i liked.

$30? Heck, just go to the trade forums and let people offer you singles. I bet you'd make out way better if everyone had a chance to compete to supply you with a sampler of all the new stuff.

Or try eBay or one of the various online sellers. This is all presuming, of course, you have no local venue selling singles. Otherwise, buy singles from them and see if you can get a list of what you need from peeps online. Yes, I said peeps. Mmmmmm. a bit of both... there are some really good figs in both sets. of course, if you have a place where you can buy singles locally, just get some singles you like and then get some boosters if you have any money left! ^_^

Get MK 2.O booster if your after the sturdy figs.

Dark riders if your after the mount and cool relics.


interesting to consider too though is that MK 2.O boosters are cheap and so you can get more of them and still have some left for a happy meal.

on topic though... if you're new and have not gotten any 2.0 figs yet then buy half of 2.0 and half of DR, but if you already have "most" of what you need from 2.0 then buy a few more boosters from DR.

Personally I like DR more coz of the chance to get an Avatar or a really cool mount. AND the fact that you do not have any chance of pulling a CT. :D

get two dark riders and one mk......bad chance for a unique but you might get some combos if you're on a budget

well get both and on the web. you can get them cheaper

You could have gotten like 14 DR packs here at my local retailer. Going out of business %80 off I think.
