What's happened to the realms? It seems like the only thing anyone is discussing here is how much wizkids and 2.0 suck or rock. There are constant arguments erupting everywhere. There's at least 6 threads in general discussion about the EXACT SAME THING!!! Whenever they show any hint of dieing SOMEONE keeps upping them with spam! The wizkids forums, which used to be so bad, haven't had even ONE flame war that I have seen for a very long time(and the moderation over there is worse). Here, everyone is getting into petty arguments about everything. One even started in Xanathon's riddle contest!
This is getting completely ridiculous. It was fine when it just stayed in one thread, but now it's starting to spread. YOU'VE BEEN SAYING HOW MUCH THE GAME SUCKS FOR 6 FRICKEN MONTHS!!!! WE ALL KNOW YOUR OPINIONS ON THE MATTER, YOU DON'T NEED TO SPREAD IT TO EVERY DANG THREAD YOU POST IN!!! If that weren't enough, some dracs are keeping these flame wars going. CAN YOU PLEASE JUST CUT IT OUT!?!? These forums are getting worse every stinking day! If you want to discuss Star Wars miniatures at least put it in the other topics forum. I come to this site to read about MK, not Star Wars. If I want to hear about how great and perfect Star Wars miniatures are i'll go over to WotC. I don't(and i'm sure most people will agree with me) want to see half the threads in general discussion being "debates"(containing 95% spam just to make them even worse) about all the faults in 2.0 and wizkids.

I came over here because the wizkids forums were in horrible shape, with flame wars erupting all over. It seems like the roles are reversed now. A great new set is about to come out and barely anyone is talking about it. Any threads about Sorcery(or whatever else) that are started are quickly bumped down to page 4. Everyone is too busy arguing about how wizkids is screwing up(or doing a fantastic job) and 2.0 sucking(or being the best thing since something very good). It's getting very tiresome.

The mods should have set up a seperate 1.0 section for the one person who starts all these threads and ban him from any of the 2.0 sections.

that is part of the problem. there is a clear 2.0/1.0 line for you people. I think the major problem is partly the mentality you just stated. There shouldn't be a forum for either. I don't play 2.0 do you THINK I should be banned from the 2.0 discussions? No that isn't the case cause guess what there are no 1.0 players I can play with either!

I am really getting sick of you guys constantly TRYING to find ways to seperate yourselves... "I'm a 1.0 player... blah blah blah" or "I'm a 2.0 player... blah blah blah. OOH I am Xclan and you left Xclan... TRAITOR... JEZUZ CHRIPES! what is with you poeple MUST you constantly try to find ways of belittling others!?

FORGET ABOUT THAT GARBAGE... we are players this is a game like any other wk owns it and they can do what they want. This is a freaking community, not a social order. we don't need to seperate our selves.

What we NEED is people to be more understanding. Sure "1.0 players" got the shaft. Sure "2.0 players" are tired of hearing about it. so it is simple... 1.0 players: you guys just need to deal with the fact that WK will not change it back. Cut your losses and move on or just stick around like I have. 2.0 Players stop acting like you have more right to this forum then the 1.0s, alot of them are just mifffed because they feel they have been burned. This is not a forum for only people who play 2.0 this is a forum for MAGEKNIGHT!

Incase anyone wonders which side I am on... I am not on one, I have not played since minions. I just like this community and like talking in it. This whole thing can go around and around... it's like trying to argue about democratics vs republicans. Demos have done bad stuff and so have repubs. WHOOOPTY do we are all people lets just chill and talk about some lighter stuff and try to work towards a mutualy pleasing relationship.

I don't have any problems with people hating 2.0. I don't have any problems with people discussing it. What I have a problem with is this "discussion" spreading to half the threads in general discussion! All these threads just have the exact same people saying the exact same things they've said in the other 5 threads on the SAME TOPIC. There is very little discussion going on in any of them. Most of them are just spam. Is it really that much to ask that people stop spreading it all over the place? I would gladly just ignore the thread if it were on just one or two threads, but it's on a ton of them. I can't even go to Xanathon's riddle thread without reading a petty argument trying to start and it's really annoying.

the problem is that when a person makes a thread just wanting info about 2.0/1.0 or what ever then some people tend to dismiss the thread as negative before they even take time to actually think.

I made a thread just asking if people thought sorcery was going to be the most fault free set since 2.0 and immediatley people accused the thread as being a "nay-say thread"

So the problem doesn't only lie with us "nay-sayers"/old timers/2.0 "haters".
So just because you love everything about 2.0 doesn't make you guilt free.

Spudkin, I'm not really sure what you are talking about. I didn't say anything 'inflammatory' or whatever else. Xanathon certainly didn't take it the wrong way, thankfully.

ok guys, i know we can get warning points for pointing fingers, but this is rediculous. If you want to single someone out, PM them. If you want to point at me, point at me.

Well, the first quote was multiple people. But yeah, you did it once at least.

The second one summersnow did mention the name but a mod must have edited it out.

The third quote I really didn't think I needed to say. Dfazman, yourself, mrd, and some other people. Pretty much everyone who argues on those threads just say the same things they said in the other 5 threads.

Evi|: Yup, that's what's ticking me off. Both sides are doing that and starting huge 2.0 sux/rox arguments over nothing. Sometimes a 2.0 hater will just jump into a thread that mentions 2.0 and say it sucks(like lloyd_banks here, although I think he was joking). Sometimes a 2.0 fan will jump into a thread they mistakingly think is bashing 2.0, defend it(when it doesn't need defending), and a huge argument comes out of it.
The result is that most of the threads in general discussion turn into the same old argument. It could be avoided if people would just be a little more careful before they jump into things.

If you think this is bad, I can't even imagine what the MW forums must look like after the "MW 1.5" announcement.
