In The Rules it say: "Warriors with item slots in their bases can completely overlap an objective token so that no other
figure can contest it."
Does that mean the the new non Uniques sorcerers can completly controling the objectives?
And about the Mounts? Their bases also completely overlat the objectives but they not have slots, does they control the objective or not?
Yes, those sorcerers that can hold items have the larger base so they can completely cover the token. Cavalry units can also. The real purpose of this rule is to let players know that the non-slotted base cannot completely cover the token, but the slotted base can.
Correct, if a base completely covers an objective it can not be contested.
However, to contest an objective you only need to touch it, so when you claim an objective using a slotted or cavalry base make sure you declare that you are fully covering the objective (and make sure you actually cover it). I've had situations where I "thought" I covered the objective, but I left a small part uncovered .... and my opponent used that opening to contest the objective.
