Are there any small Cons anywhere before Origins and such on the east coast? Just a question hope someone can answer it.

Yeah, but that os more of a comic show than anything else. WKs didn't even have any MK events at last year's show. Just Heroclix.

yeah i'm looking to MK. i want to play others around the US without it being so much like Nationals. I think i'd show up to wizworld this year but i'd rather go to play MK.

(you may already know this, so if you do, ignore this).

As a note, there are other MK events at Origins and GenCon besides the National/World championships. So if you aren't able to find anywhere else, that will still be a place you can go to play in events against people in a non-Nationals setting :)

yeah i knew that but i appreciate you putting that up here. its just if i go i expect to compete in nationals ya know. but i wanna do something in a tourney setting before Wizworld and Origins

Cullen, depending on where you are, there is an event in MA, in January, though I do not know who is running it I will find out before then.

I live in friggin Nebraska!!! I have almost no chance of getting that Apocalypse Dragon.... Anyone know if there's any Cons or other events held in Nebraska or Iowa?

There's one in Denver I think. I've never been but it's supposed to be good. Not quite IA or NE but not too far.

I didn't think WK attended any cons in Denver. The closest I knew of to me in Colorado was in Texas. (Only important for getting that con exclusive dragon, really. :D)

There is Wizard World East in Philadelphia that will be in early June this year IIRC (though last year it was mostly for Heroclix) and next September (I think I read) there is going to be a convention in MA, but I can't remember if it was being put on by Wizard World or someone else. Hope this helps a little. I plan on being at WWE in Philly and also the one in MA, as I live in New England anyway and it will be a day trip for me to go to MA.

i think the closest big con to IA or NE would be wizworld chicago...
