Since there is no uniques or dudes over fifty points why not through in a cheap revanent guy?
This way you could keep those centaur goin and not worry about taking damage.
You want the best plan?...build an army around his rule...he may not allow you to use it so bring 2 armies just in case but make sure you tell him you only have the one army unless he forces you to submit...a rider is a figure...a mount is a figure...a cavlry unit is just 2 figures combining to become a unit...use EF Horned Stags and either Dragon Priests or Scalesworn Honorguards...use any riders you can and choose...you can use Battle Horses too...the EL BH has 18 defense and counterattack for 45 points...you can easily have 3 awesome cavlry units and 2 additional figures...if no one else thinks of the plan you will or should be able to run over most of your opponents...they will have lots of small fighters so they will be able to tie you up...but you have shake off...wait a minute...you said 200 eh...ok...2 cavlry units and a non...at least put together an army with 1 cavlry unit...only 87 points for a Dragon Priest*** on EF Stag...gives you 11 attack for 3 damage in close combat and for range combat...Magic Healing with the ability to bound and do so...Dragon Priest** is 6 points cheaper and just as good but no MH...bottom line...CAVLRY UNITS are the way to go if he will let you...good luck...Mike
Thankx for your input guys...i think i'll just put in a *pain wraith for revenate, i would use cavalry, but i've already seen the armies i'm facing and cavalry would get wasted
How do you figure?...why do people think cavlry units are weak and fragile?...they are tough...I wonder if people know how to use them properly sometimes...a guy on MKrealms once asked why you would dismount...so many reasons...dismounting and remounting and using the 2 units together is the way to go...no push damage and the token distribution makes them awesome...I think I should start a thread...am I the only one who sees the cavlry units as overpowering...??????

I agree with you that they are indeed very strong units in teh right hands, but they are by no means overpowering. I can use 1 fig (even if its 40pts, its still only half as much) and prevent you from doing any mounted attacks. Dismount and the rider is actually no better than a mediocre figure for its point cost. I'm not saying that you should never dismount, but dismounting does have it's drawbacks.
In any case, I'd say to use 2 Leech Trolls and fill in with * and ** shades. The Leech Trolls have toughness and all the figures have a good attack value. And as long as one of the trolls still has healing on it's dial that means that all your shades have healing also. Just a thought.
I don't think that cavalry rule the game, but I would say that a * dragon priest on a EF stag would not be a bad addition. I would fill the gap with ** orc maraders. their Lurk makes them tough to Kill and gang up is a very usefull ability with those little dudes. throw in a * Troll smasher and you can pretty much handle any army that fall into the rules you posted above. play something like smoke and fog so that anything with a range more then your dragon priest now has a range equal to him. and since your Dragon Priest can bound for 18 inches you'll get first hit on anything. woohoo:D
Forgot to mention the EL Snow Centaur. With Quickness and Ram, they can be a real handful for a fig of equal value. It won't even cost you one of your orders to move it into b2b and deal the click of Ram damage. It's really nice....:)
I agree with Hero_guy about the El snow centuar. for 41 points you can double time for twenty inches easily being able to base the opposing revanent fig and take him out before he has a chance to really use revanent. I think that is a good thing to strategise for in a 200 pt army because most people won't want to deal with healing or worry about loosing figs. A remake to my old army would be:
Healing, bounding, harrasers ( Atlantians ) and close combat fighters. Covered most of the basics. Domain is pretty much something like....smoke and fog, cold snap or the domain that takes away flyers can't remember the name.
I agree with Bluedragon, I would definitely consider adding a cavalry unit (if the warlord considers them separate pieces). You get speed, high attack and the ability to perform actions without taking pushing damage. I hope Bluedragon starts a thread on ways to use cavalry, including dismounting tactics, that would be useful to a lot of people.
How about including a figure with Rally as a harasser, like a *Prieskan Warrior. That is one annoying figure to have to kill. Figures with high defenses and/or parry would be good too, since more figures under 50 points do not have high attacks.
In the rules listed, there is no need to bring wand types. No relics and no spellbooks means that wand type ranged attacks only become a burden as there are quite a few fig 50pts and under that have MI and no where near as many that have cursed. With the shades, you can borrow ram, quickness or healing in various combinations as needed. I can't even imagine the annoyance caused when you say "all my shades will copy ram then proceed to move 3 of them into b2b with the same figure causing 3 damage without a die roll. Then just as your opponent is going to take his/her turn you quickly add "But, wait! I'm not done yet." Then proceed to move the centaur with quickness and ram into b2b with the same fig. It's a beautiful thing. Also this allows the possibility of making 3 healing attempts in 1 round, or 5 in 2 rounds without pushing anyone. This could be a huge advantage in such a low point game. With all that healing and ram possible, you can even ram most rider's to death and then go back and get healed if you took any shakeoff damage.
** (Imperial Legion) Disruptors, they have an 18 defense, range, charge, and decent attack w/ Damage.
* Blood Demons, they keep going and going and going....
* or *** Skull Golems, build all renzy and watch the fun as these point effective beat sticks go to town.
* or *** Mortar Altems, bombardment will be your friend in this sceneario. Also handy if its unrestricted, get some cheap Magic Enhancers and rain poggy death.
and for Calvary Unit I'd recomend the *** Surok Rider on BPR warbird.
