It's worth noting that the "starters" are the MK2.0 starters; there are no "Omens" starters, to my knowledge.

While there is no Omens "starter, per se, WK is going to market the "Mage Knight Commander Pack". From the official MK site:

As far as Champions replacing heroes it hasn't been confirmed but I think it would be freesible for them to become the new heroes in a new Dungeons. The champion starts off at a certain level and if it levels up, just switch it up to its next highest dial. If the whole Dungeons 2.0 thing doesn't come out, it would be kind of cool to have a storyline scenario where a champion can "level up" in the heat of battle.
