So I've decided to come back to Mage Knight, and I've always wanted to try one of these so here goes:
99 Kenaz Stoneheart - 60 Book of Lightning
32 Eahna Longblade - 28 Tome of Weirding (-25 from forge relic)
10 Forge Relic
4 Arcane Sight
4 Voice of Glory
34 *Blood Shaman
29 **Deathsinger
25 *Prieskan Warrior
20 ***Shocktrooper
Total: 299
Domains:
Clear Skies
Smoke and Fog
Clouded Mind
Ok, so the strategy is straightforward, get leadership on Eahna, the Deathsinger and the Shocktrooper (which will be in base contact with her at the start of the game) and use leadership to BoL every turn. The command will heal 2 clicks if anyone gets demoralized.
So the starting formation should have Kenaz touching the close edge of the table, with Eahna right next to Kenaz on either side also touching the back of the table. Have the Prieskan Warrior next to Kenaz, in base contact, but a bit forward from the edge of the table. Then have the Deathsinger in front of both Kenaz and Eahna, in base contact with both, so that command from both will take affect if she becomes demoralized. And end with the other Shocktrooper next to Eahna. This way, your opponent shouldn't be able to base either of my uniques without first killing one of the three figures in front of them. The command gained from voice of glory, coupled with Rally on the Atlantean figures, will allow any of those 3 "meat shields" to heal of 4 damage if they start a turn demoralized. Positioning the Shaman at either soaring so he can heal any of the figures in the main group, and be free from alot of melee harm.
So basically get multiple leadership figs with Voice of Glory and hammer away with Book of Lightning, using Hex from the Shaman.
Any comments would be helpful, please be constructive and don't just post "O great more cheese." This army is beatable, and I'm just looking to see if I can make it tournament worthy.
Lastly, the new Clouded Mind card presents quite a handy condition to play under. It will either tie down, or push the fatty in my opponents' army every time he uses him, while leaving me virutally unaffected thanks to leadership.
Ok, first of all, you might want to recount your pts total as I'm getting to 302pts even after the Forge Relic... Also, you can't have both Forge Relic and Voice of Glory in the same spellbooks due to different faction requirements for the 2 spells...
Next point of Order, your harassers. Unfortunately, they suck. What you need is something which is able to both move really fast, and deal some damage in close combat. Kenaz will still be your workhorse, but you need some guys to be abel to clean the leftovers.
At least now it's legal... You lost Revenant, and MH, but you now have an ok secondary ranged threat, a correct fighter/harasser, and a really good harasser...
Also, to note, when a figure is demoralized and is surrounded by figures with Command or Rally figures, he will not heal up for every instance of Command. The way it works is this:
If a figure starts a command phase Demoralized, then you can choose to heal using Command or Rally. If the figure still has Demoralized showing, then you can use the other method of healing. It is not all done at once, but seperatly and individually for every instance of Command and Rally. So your figure wouldn't heal 4 clicks, but just 2 unless he has a lot more Demoralized.
I've had some fairly good luck with BoL in the past. Here is the build I ussually go with.
Kenaz 99
BoL 60
Zeph 36
Blood Shaman * 34
Blood Priestess ** 33
Tome of Brass 33
- Arcane Sight
- Chinook
- Circle of Wraiths
- Whatever filler you like
Comes out to 295 if i havn't made a mistake. It is versitile enough to handle most situations, besides of course relics like the sunsword. The new spell firestorm is potentially an issue now as well.

Throw down Rain and Mud or Downpour to slow everyone down and sit back to watch the lightning fly...you also need to have Clear Skies in case someone uses any domain that shuts down ranged attacks...
