After splitting two cases of Omens with some friends and really getting a chance to look at the new stuff I instantly started thinking about ways to stop some of the cheese that's out there:
Delphana Master w/Delphana Primer (Illusionary Caltrops, Disbelieve, Deny)
Goldyx w/Book of Life (Call Familiar, Psychic Reflection, Magic Negation, Disenchant)
*Wave Spawn
Terk(a) (Familiar)
*Grimlin
With Submerged & Charge he's great to tie up figs fast and give Terk and Goldyx time to get out there. (If I get first turn imagine how frustrating it would be to have your big fatty tied up in your deployment zone!) Plus, with a 9 attack for 2 damage they're not shabby attackers.
i think the wavespawn would be better as a familiar. with him being right in the mix w/ your opponent's army, he's likely to die quickly. with him as the familiar, you'll get him back quickly also, book of life on goldyx is a waste of points. goldyx gets magic healing early in his dial anyways. you'd be better off saving the 16 (i think) points and using tome of brass
also, 2 spellbooks with ley drain and spell stasis in your domain selection is downright foolish. i understand the idea, but it's just to nerf whatever spells/relics your opponent is sending against you, while taking care of their actual figures isn't really adressed. you don't have anything that can handle a beefy :sword: or  type. you can tie down a figure or 2 for a turn, but in reality, with the figures you have, you'll need more than that 1 turn.
Teh biggest problem I coudl see with a lonesome wave familiar is teh fact that his defense is so low it's way too easy to capture, and then kill off...
