I just picked up an LE prize support Serai Zus and noticed that the base was printed in Gold. I have one already from a case and it was printed in Silver/Blue. Anyone else notice this vairation on other prize support. If WK have done this deliberately, I wonder why, if the fugures are the same?

Yes, this is something new for Omens, although it has been done is way for HeroClix and MechWarrior since they started putting LEs in boosters.

The reason for the difference is simple: so you can tell the difference betweens LEs you earned, and ones you pulled out of a booster.

You can also liken the difference to the nice colorful cards you pull out of boosters and the blacked out approved play cards that are tourney prizes.
