as far as the loseing faction thats a tough one AE did get a boost from sorcery and since it has to faction pure I assume Shyft are the only ones who can use MS so that limits death throes signicicantly.

My question is where does OotNC fit in.

I hope AE does better then last time...

oops im sorry i forgot about the two boosters hmm that could be interesting.

Sigma has ruled that you can't include Mage Spawn among your 300 points of Shyft, because the MS don't have a faction and they don't gain a faction until after deployment.

That having been said, I'd bet my bottom dollar that the Shyft are going to be the big losers in this Faction War. Atlanteans and Revolutionaries rejoice!

Shyft and Apocalypse are not part of the Faction War.

Why's that? They never mention something like that at the Faction Wars info.
Omens boosted up the Shyft & the Apoc faction, they now have an army to compete at pure factions.:D

Anyways, Orcs will still beat their arzez. Same as for the other factions. Do you still remember what some Orc leaders planned after the fall of the Shadow Khans? They'll be back! And this is the time.

I don't know why, but when I got my Warlord to let us sneak a peek at the prizes for Faction War, the Shyft and Apocalypse were not represented. I suppose some Warlords may allow them to be played, but mine interpreted that as that we cannot play them.

No Shyft or Apocalypse? That's very dissapointing. I mean, they just got a set that was centered around them becoming a bigger faction, and now we can't play them? Well, there's always the next faction war...

I am hoping there will be some variation in the winners this time around. Maybe something like an Atlantean or a BPR win because some of the factions need some lovin. I think I'll probably go with BPR, I'm really liking their newer figs.

Anyone know a link to the prizes? Or do they want us to make armies based on our favorite faction and not base it on the prizes (Because that is completely okay with me and I think its a great idea).

Some of the FW prizes are self-intuitive...DC gets Deathseekers, Atlantis gets Steelhands, BPR gets Fickett's Fifty...blanking on the rest...I think Vurga Riders goes to the Elementals, Midnight Watch goes to the Solonavi..bahhhh... saw the prizes last week when they came in and now I'm blanking....and the winner gets a shiny black-background Gate Shield woo-hoo!!
