Those all seem like great ways to promote the game, the FLGS, and bring in new players.

WHY WASN'T THIS DONE WITH MK?
I mean, geeze, what's the thinking here? They have fantastic promotions to get more intrest in their best game line, and for the floundering one, they get the shaft?!?!??

Good question. If anything, it would have created more excitement and probably more booster purchases. I always wondered why they stuck so strictly to the 1 in 6 ratio for uniques with MK. In addition as I stated before, I thought it was a mistake not to include an ultra rare in every case.

Funny thing is there were a number of complaints by people as to why WK did not promote Omens that much.

Hmm... I think that MK was on a decline anyways. There were those of us who were adamant on trying to keep the ship afloat, but we just couldn't do it. And I think this is a case of "too little too late". It's a shame really. A promotion like this would have pumped some new life into the old horse. The only thing I woouldn't care about is the "bricks". When I buy in bulk I buy a case. But the news about the big MK party is great though. I'm looking forward to it.

If you look at the HC announcement almost everything they've done is a result a cooresponding failure in the MK line.

MK has been the guniea pig that Wizkids used to discover what not to do in the other lines. :)

By the time Wizkids was done experimenting, MK was too far screwed up to be saved. :(

Note that they say many changes came from player input. We gave idea after idea and where we listened to??

I wish we would have gotten deals like this. I have purchased multiple cases since Rebellion. I have taught 30+ teens how to play through my school game club and what do I get for my hard work and Faithful support? An Apocolypes PARTY???? Brother I still cannot get over being upset about what has been done! UGGGGGGGGGGG!!!!!

And the madness just continues...Well, look at it this way. If you're a Heroclix fan, and if you're lucke enough not to get the next set allocated out of existence before you are able to get some, you might have some slim chance of getting a whole set..........what...no????

Maybe they are trying to reassure Heroclix fans that their game is not being cancelled too.

I mean seriously... what were they smoking to convince them all the best publicity measures they could take should be implemented after it was far, far too late?

Just remember, all of the good stuff they're doing to HC and MW (and some that was done to MK) will be in the new MK from the beginning.

Sure, they'll probably be some bad, and it still mean waiting 2 years, and assuming WK doesn't fail... :D
