i recently bought a pack of dnd, the one with a huge figure in each. i pulled an awesome blue dragon called a behir. anyhoo, i designed stats for it when i noticed it's base is the same size as a titan base. if u want the stats, just tell me your email and i'll send em to ya.
i actually planned to have the stats on seperate pieces of paper, which is actually the thing they were getting rid of when they made the clicky dial. anyhoo, i made stats for the fomorian, fiendish tyrannasaures, treant, and nightwalkers.
Thanatos666, kindly post here the stats that you created, we can all discuss then modify it. Then the output that we can all agree will become the official stats for that Titan. So whoever wants to do the conversion, will follow the stats, so we can have uniformity.
Since we dont want to this to be more complicated, we'll not make any MDF's. Not yet. Just Titans. Lets do this one at a time.
So our first pick will be:
Behir, from DnD. But since we're using him as a Titan for MK, we'll give him a new name.
MK Name: Fiendish Lander Serpent (FLS)
Range: 8
Num Range Attack: 3
Range Damage: 4
Dial Number 1
Front Arc: 360 º
Faction: Mage Spawn
Rarity: Exclusive (Converted)
Rank: standard
Pathfinder all the way his dial.
HShoe: 8/8/8/8/7/7/7/7/6/6/6/6/6/6/6/5/5/5/5/5/4/4/4/4/4/dead
Wand:14Ve/14Ve/13Ve/13Ve/13Ve/13Ve/12Ve/12Ve/12Ve/12Ve/11Ve/11Ve/11Ve/11Ve/11Ve/11Sf/10Sf/10Sf/10Sf/10Sf/9Sf/9Sf/9Sf/8Sf/8Sf/dead
MI: 20/20/20/20/20/19/19/19/19/19/18/18/18/18/17/17/17/17/17/16/16/16/16/16/16/dead
Fist: 7Cb/7Cb/7Cb/6Cb/6Cb/6Cb/6Cb/5Cb/5Cb/5Cb/5Cb/5Cb/5Cb/5Cb/5Cb/4/4/4/4/4/3/3/3/3/3/dead
Nex:1st Click(Ancient)=Sm, 4th Click(Mature)=Sm, 7th Click(Young)=If, Last 10Clicks of life=Ve
Sm = Submerged
If = Infiltrate
Sf = Storm Fire
Ve = Venom
Cb = Crushing Blow
Iz = Immobilize
So I've done my homework. Behir, is a magical serpent. Thus, he gets the Wand attack type. And he is also Immune.
Submerged on his ist Click for Ancient & Mature, Infiltrate for Young, because like any other serpent, he can pop up anywhere at soft grounds. Shallow water, bushes, fertile grounds, etc. Not deep water, that's why he only gets the Horseshoe movement.
Pathfinder all the way his dial, because he's a serpent who can move like a snake & he's big. So no bushes or lil' trees that can hinder his movements. But he's not that fast.
Storm fire at the later part of his dial, this creature is a magical being & he can breath electricity, but he'll only use it if he's totally threatend. So thats it.
Venom all the way, it is said that any small creatures that would go near him will be weaken. That's it, then he'll be able to do some serious damage. Crushing Blow answers this.
His Defense doesnt sport any Sa, because even w/ his thick hide they're not used as defense while combat, it's only used for movement purposes. He can whirl around easily, thus he has 360 deg arc.
The name? I noticed that mostly all big figures from MK have more than 1 word in it's name.
Ok, for point values,
Ancient = 464 , he's good, but not that good.
Mature = 392 , just a guess. would luv to put M. Gishki(a) w/ in a 400 points game.
Young = 300 , I would luv to put him in a 300 points game.:D
Now we need a help of TrollKnight , who knows how to make the Titan dial templates. LMK.
You guys can also suggest anything to finalize this Titan. Then we all can have our first Titan Conversion.
The table is now open for the open source MK:Rebirth. Titans Conversion
All you need to do is go to yahoo.com, go into Groups:Wargames:Battletech, and then find a group called MWResources. They have downloadable templates for MW units, but I wanted one for a titan, so I made the circle bigger, and manually added the slots to the template (cut/paste/rotate 14.56whatever degrees). I did this because I wanted to make a REALLY big mech (the Ubermech).
The infantry units are the same scale for regular pieces, I think.
