Oh, I remember the infamous submersible golem. I suppose the figure is better than the original, but it is very costly.

The Avenger looks freakin amazing. :eek: :eek:

None of these figs "wowed" me. Submersible golem might be good with K-bow, but its expensive, Phreggs has almost no point besides a dodging tinkerer, Spirit Prophet has Strong Flyer ('nuff said) but also a little necromancy (for WAY too many points).

The Avenger might see some play; Counterattack, Ghostform, Quickness and Crushing Blow make for a nice Varatrix Jr, for about 50 less points.

Solonavi Advenger looks fun. Looks like mini Varatrix. For thoughs of you who think Varatrix is too expensive, there's the Advenger. Both of them in an army would be fun.
I'm very excited about the Submerisble Golem. An Atlantean with submerged, fun! A group of them, very, very fun and potentialy dangerious!

And what is the point of an orc with tinker? [ag]

I guess the chest-snatching-gone-tinkering orc is there because of all the new golems, or maybe an orc golem is in the works :D

I like the Solonavi Avenger. Cheap Varatrix is very appealing. What relics would you guys use on SA or any of the sneak peeks?

Well, Phreggs is one of the heroes, so he's used to freelancing. Indeed, wasn't he in the group that found Redgear?

I really like the Avenger. I like his stats. He has much of the "best of Varatrix" (not all, but much of it), and he's a NON! You can field a few of them in larger games :D yay!

I will look at the stats of the other 3 in more detail later :) I was too excited about the Avenger today. If nothing else, he just looks cool.

As a Solonavi fan, I'm definitely happy with the way the 3 so-far-shown "Big 5" have turned out (and I think the Seekers look sharp, too, and the others aren't too bad either!)

I really like the Avenger...up until I look at that 17 def. 100+ pts is a bit much for a support piece/back-up attacker. But with all the other stats as they stand, I'd say there are only a very limited amount of relics that I would put on this one. Decapitator (with all the bonuses it gives, it's worth the risk of auto-suicide), Caerron Luckblade (though it is expensive), and Magestone Shield (which leaves the :sword: slot open for a PoD) pop into my mind right now.

Decapitator is the most interesting of the choices though, as it gives the Avenger 11 speed, 14 att, 18def, and 5dmg to start...sound familiar? And the package costs about 140pts so you can almost fit in a shade. That's good stuff right there. :D

I fill disapointed about the soubmersible golem, but I never expected too much.:(
