This is a very tough decision, but I am going to go with giving lancers the :boot:. Whirlwind was on of the best sets, it introduced the shyft AND new special abilities. Plus, it introduced my all-time favorite figure, the Half-Troll Behemoth.

I like both sets, but I prefer Whirlwind;) , goodbye Lancer ....

I happen to like Lancers soley for the ***Fell Reaper ;).

I voted for Whirlwind. Lancers was the set that got me into Mage Knight.

Lancers and whirlwind were the 2 bether sets from 1.0, but whirlwind was a little better.;)

I've got to go with Whirlwind here. Lancers had some AWESOME pieces, but over all Whirlwind was the better set. Lancers seems to be hit or miss, and has a lot of filler. Whirlwind was just solid all around.

It also doesn't help that I bought half a case of Lancers and didn't pull a unique.

Whirlwind introduced venom and ram ... it introduced the War Hatchettkruggs... that alone is enough to warrant my admiration.

Whirlwind because of the Elemental mounts and Mortis.
